Applicant Requirements

All DIGI-MAT applicants should establish an advisor before applying for the program.  (with the exception of STATS students)

We accept applications from 1^st year PhD students during the fall semester and early spring semester, on a rolling basis, until the cohort is full.

All applicants should submit a research statement that includes how you believe your research is in line with the DIGI-MAT program and how you can benefit from participating in the program. Also include a CV and letter of support from an advisor. All documents and questions should be emailed to Angela Slates at slates@illinois.edu
