DIGI-MAT is a 5-year advanced certification PhD program designed for graduate students with an enthusiasm for material informatics. Trainees work with faculty and other DIGI-MAT trainees across several departments (Siebel School for Computing and Data Science, physics, materials science, chemistry, iSchool, statistics, physics) and gain broad professional training, including professional development, paid internship, team building, a signature “DIGItal MATerials” course, and an upcoming DIGI-MAT Capstone course.
